About the Director

Fakespeare's Theatre and Lego Legends Camps are owned and operated by me, Rob Ramirez-Thompson. I have been an elementary school teacher since 1992. I have directed summer camps in Arlington County since 1993 (KidRealm Camps). Recently I have expanded to Loudoun County.  I am a graduate of Virginia Tech University and live with my wife and five children in South Riding.

I always look forward to the summer because I enjoy the challenge and the fun of running Fakespeare and KidRealm Summer Camps. What makes our camps unique is my vested interest in making your child's camp experience better each year. During the school year, I operate after-school enrichment programs. In this way I am able to test and hone new activities year round. Most activities are created just for our camps and this makes for an experience you will not duplicate anywhere else.

As a school teacher I believe in organization, time management, and creating a safe fun environment where kids of all ages and levels can participate with success. I spare no expense in supplies, games, and prizes. I want our camps to be some of the best in the county.

I hope to see you at Belmont Station this summer.
